One of the most inspirational mentors that I’ve enjoyed in my life is a man I’ve never met. I think most of you know of the late, great, Mr. Jim Rohn. As often as possible, I read his books or watch his videos. He has a very simple way to break down life and get people around him to focus on things that are real. His messages are not loud, they are not boastful. He is not a fire walker. He is not a fist pumper. His goal is not to “pump you up” and get you thrilled with short term excitement. He simply speaks to one as if he is speaking to his children, his peers, his friends. He speaks the simple truth. I love that about him. I came across this classic Rohn video in which he is talking about how one increases their value. Please indulge me and listen. Set aside 10 minutes when you will not be interrupted and listen to his message. I hope you enjoy it and gain value from it as I did.
