Stop whining about your problems. Whining doesn’t fix the problem, rather… it prolongs the problem. As long as you continue to whine about what is wrong in your life there will be no room for anything good to come into your life. That is just the way life works. You cannot focus on the solution when you’re whining about the problem. You cannot do two things at once. Pick the one that moves you closer to where you want to be in life. Does whining bring you closer to success? Does whining bring you closer to a better relationship? Does whining really make you happy? Does it make you smile? Seriously, have you ever seen anyone smile and whine at the same time? The answer obviously is that whining does not move you closer to where you want to be. Whining will only make your problems stick around longer. It will not make you smile. And trust me on this one; it will not endear you to others.
What moves you closer to where you want to be and what you want to have? A plan. When you have a plan for dealing with your situation, you are energized and you are happier. You are focused on the solution. That is when your life moves forward. Remember, you can only choose one thing to do, so what is it going to be? Are you going to whine and stay stuck where you are? Or are you going to create a plan that moves you toward the life you want? People have problems. I get that. I understand that bad things happen and I realized that they happen to really good people. That’s just the way life is. I’m not closing my eyes to these things. I am not saying you caused the bad things in your life. Those things are not your fault but your reaction to those things happening in your life is your fault. Life does not just happen to you; you happen to life. So you got dealt a crummy hand? It happens. Pick up the cards, shuffle them, and deal yourself a new hand. You are in control. Do not wait. Do not whine. The good things in life don’t just show up. You have to make them come to you. Whining solves nothing. You need to decide the life you want, develop a plan as to how you will accomplish that and put your plan in place. Make the good things come to you.
Have a great weekend.
